Yep, and you’d think the conspiracy theorists would see that a cheap or free vaccine is exactly counter to all of their theories about people being kept sick so they can pay for ongoing prescriptions.
Assuming they’re proven safe and effective, sure. Don’t blindly assume, though. Beyond the obvious politicization, one reason why the approval hasn’t gone through is likely due to the gutting of the FDA. Sigh …

Nowadays it’s a cheap and almost mandatory investment to bribe an official donate to the presidential library in order to get preferential treatment.

Kneecapping Big Pharma would be fine if the government were planning to invest in public science and mRNA vaccine research. But if they cut off the market for privately developed vaccines, and thus the motive for pharma companies to develop them, and in place only put RFK’s blood letting and leeches (at premium prices), that’s not such a good thing.
Meanwhile insulin is more expensive than it ever has been in the history of it’s existence. While Dumbass Trump and Dipshit Kennedy along with their Republican backup singers are doing exactly dick about it.
I honestly think they subscribe to a fascist belief that people who get sick are weak and should die to purify the gene pool. Unless it’s them, in which case they should receive the best care money can buy. And the fact that they can afford it shows that they are strong and successful and have the bestest genes of all.

We need them to also work on measles. Like now. Within a few months the entire USA will be at a standstill in another pandemic. This time one with less of an inconvenience or death situation and more of itchy pain, blindness, permanent dismemberment and also possible death, and some are just a little inconvenienced.
