This is an educational video from the German TV station ARD1, about German owls. It’s in German, of course, but it’s got some great video about two breeding pairs and their owlets, briefly covering from egg to leaving the nest, including some adorable footage of one of the fledglings practicing pouncing on a dead bird.

A promising recovery in Barn Owl numbers is emerging across Suffolk, following one of the poorest breeding seasons in recent years.
