Telescope and writing tools, ivory and wood, German, early 17th century AD

I wish there was more info linked, I’d love to know what the cylinder and the ornate little thing just below it are. A calendar or scale and a pounce sprinkler, maybe? I’ve never seen a pouncer like that before though, its so tiny and it has a slot in the side… maybe a pen cutter…? very curious.
